Episode 28: Frankfurt Germany

Welcome to the land of Heidi Klum ( hahaha that the only famous German yang i kenal, selain Hitler) Arrived in Frankfurt at 430pm local time. We stay at Alder Hotel for 2nights €50 per night, ok nice hotel near the train station and public transport.

Trains pass thru Holland vast landscape, rivers, canals and villages make me miss Malaysia and it only been a week.

Frankfurt main (this german lady explain that main means river in german) is financial hub of German and a lots of Banks and is damn expensive here. Maps in other country given free but here need to pay €0.50 wtf!! Fridge Magnet €5 ea (sini taknde jual longgok2 ea 3 €5).

i would say nothing much here except for the grand architecture building, huh for me this type of architecture when u see it once you see it all. I m bored. Why? Coz all the structure is most of them is the same and the motive, the statuesque same (matilah mak kene keji gan arkitek seluruh dunia pass nie) this my layman opinion. New architecture here are very much forward, the contras what make Frankfurt alive.

Wow getting colder here, snowing and it Easter Holiday and all shop closed for 2 day, lagi sekali wtf!!! Macam mana i nak shop and spend my euros here (kannn mcm byk sgt euros). But here Toywatch so cheap €135 jeah but the damn shop closed!

One more interesting thing that frankfurt have is their underground pedestrian way which connect to all major street and offices and i found this bridge that dedicated to all the lovers, u came to this bridge and express your love to each other they you lock it away, literary with a padlock, dozen, i mean millions padlock across this bridge, with your name on it.

Episode 27: Armsterdam day 2

Last day here, we will depart to Frankfurt at 11:00am.

I conculed my journey here in Armsterdam with Grande Hazelnut Latte (still starbuck the choice). My rating for Armsterdam is satisfactory, if i have to spent my pocket money to come here again, maybe NOT. Armsterdam for me just a town with a canal and you only need to visit here once your lifetime.That it! (reminiscing of Malacca if u ask me, or i just hallucinatio coz i need spicy food) Thank Allah for giving me this opportunity to visit Armsterdam. (maybe i just visit the city, if i go outskirt Amsterdam maybe i change my opinion, but for now, NOT)

So far this trip make me learn a lot and make me more a person and becoming a better one as i before. Patience is key of any relationship, communication is a must. Friend may come and go but best friend is forever. Walaupun in this trip we burst into urgement and tak setuju with each other opinion but at end of the day we make up and respected. Enjoy.

From Amsterdam we take train to Frankfurt via Utrecht Centraal. Tips if you travel around europe via eurotrain :
1. Plan your trips in advance, some of the destination need you to do reservation (fee for reservation train around €20)
2. Write down your travel plan ( do not just said today we here, next day there, bla bla bla)
3.be prepare to inccur additional cost (reservation, night train need to pay extra)
4.watch for the vadility of your EuroTrain pass not over the date permitted
5. View your train schedule thru web much much easier than the booklet they give you
6. This pas do not enclude fastrain (you need to pay full ticket for that so be carefull)

As the train passing thru Amsterdam/Germany the sun coming out, ahhhhh his ray of light shining thru my face, wash away coldness feeling in my heart ( wahhh gitews kan perasaan , so camner leh jadi penulis tak?)

Ok guys, i m entering Germany now ( like watching those hollywood movie about Germany, my initial reaction).

Episode 26: Armsterdam

Early in the morning stroll down old and rustic town of Armsterdam About 1'c cold

For me Armsterdam is like an old washed jeans that you keep for memories (good or bad)that Armsterdam in a nutshell. The old mideval theme Armsterdam carried, becoming lost in translation for generation Y! whY you ask me? Rubbish everyway, on the street , in a canal. Poor swans and birds swim in pile of rubbish.Why so many young people here in Amrsterdam i wonder, then it hits me, Amrsterdam is the capital of legalise prostitute and drug. The famous Red Light District is here, and i can smell the sperm as i stroll down the street. Hahahaha. Coffeehouse here not just sell coffee but drug sold in here, so if your are in Armsterdam and craving for a cup a coffee please do search for Starbuck.

Nevertheless the old charm smell vividly as i pass thru historical houses along the canal. What a blessed ArmsterdM, snowing today and me as jakun as orang asli giggle and praised Allah for this snow. Amin

Snow getting heavier so did our head, hungry and lost in this winding road in desperate search of HCR Armsterdam, so we enter into argument and went separate way(which i regret afterward, but we make up)

Nice cozy little place, food not bad.we order nasi goring (adoii dah lidah jawa nak gak mkn nasi) €21 with drink

Episode 25: Amsterdam via Brussels and Rotterdam

Early planning Paris then Spain, but "kita hanya merancang Tuhan yang menentukan" one lesson learned the expensive way is Eurostar ticket very expensive last minute same like AirAsia so people if your are planing to go Europe Via London please please buy ticket early if not you will pay the expensive ticket for 2hours train ride.

So our ticket price is £180 per person to Brussels take about 4hrs. We buy euro train ticket for 15days and free 2 days package €999 for 2 persons. This ticket you need to active once you in European country and only valid for normal train services not the super fast train like TGV.

Ok from Brussels (Belgium for those yg tak tau) direct train to Armsterdam - tak ada. So we take the one which stop at Rotterdam and than take another train to Armsterdam Central. Well i swear it fells like i m in Amazing Race.

Eurostar crossing the English channel tunnel (rasa macam berada di bawah air kot) sebab it dark and cold and the train is like slowing down when in the tunnel and its scary!

we arrived at Armsterdam around 9.00pm and did not bother to search for better hotel we end up in the small and crapy rooms that coz €40 per night per person (good deal lah for a budget traveller)

Chek in and sleeps till morning coz i m too tired to bother Armsterdam.

Episode 24: Day 4-Greater London

Still in London, well i can say that London had everything, if i can turn back time i will migrate here. Today we went to Parliment House and from there we stroll to the busy yet cold street to the Big Ben.

Well for Big Ben is just an old clock tower that inspired the grandfather clock at your house, dont u think so. Next to London Eye just like Sinagpore Flyers lah. My advised to come early this open at 9.00am the q long and after you buy a ticket, there will be a screening of 4D movie about the London Eye i said skip it coz nothing interesting and when u finish see the movie there will be a longer q to enter the London Eye

I tell u it worth wasting time q'ing coz the 360' view of London City is breathtaking. This is a must when you are here.

Well the cold and windy London taking a troll of us, feelling sleeping and tired so we stay in for the rest of the day and cook.

Episode 23: Day 3-Oxford

Still wake up 3am coz of the time difference.still cold. We travelled early today coz of oxford is like million miles away (hahahah no lah just kidding) just 1hour train ride. What amaze me is their train system so efficient and old.i guess 150 years.
the fare for this ride is (teng teng tenng) £23. Ha ambik ko!!!

but worth it kot. sesampai jea i already fell genius already (maklumlah oxford is where all the smart people study) huh! I love the old building victorian architectural inspired so old and grand.love love love it

we took a city sightseeing tour bus £11 ok kot. (U know kan i i not into this thing) i just like to walk and enjoy this medieval town and absorb the history!

Oxford old town with old people sipping their cup of tea enjoying what left of their life beside student. Lots of history castle and rivers.

next on the agenda is Harrods (yes this what i like.shopping) Well Harrods live up to his name and reputation so grand stand tall in the middle of buzy street. Once u inside Harrods you will be transform to the world of luxury everything i said everything that the world had Harrods has it, from the famous brand to a very expensive food,drinks,caviar even cakes is expensive here.

Ground and 1st floor are for those who are fitly rich try on designer bag, clothes. This is not the floor for me to shop.

ahhhh yes 2nd floor when u can find common people (rakyat jelata) do their shopping in Harrods (including me) hahaha. This is where u can find the infamous Harrods merchandise you buy for souvenir

next we went to Hard Rock Cafe and rockshop. Well they say it not complete your travel if you not visit the Hard Rock Cafe chain, ye kot!

Episode 22: London day 2 - Bicester Village

Day 2 in London city very cold. Love the weather i guess coz malaysia so hot this time. i not at all prepare for the time different, around 3pm i like sleepy doze off in train.hahahaha (shut up lily i know you would say this, "ko mana2 pun bole doze off, berdengkur lg". Hahahah yup)

Today agenda is to Bicester village, is like our JPO with all the designer label sold at bargain.most of British label sold at half price and much much cheaper than in KL. if you got a member card they give u like 30% to 40% extra discount.so before you leave malaysia, apply this membership card online and you can collect there to enjoy the extra discount.

I grab myself Ted baker shirt n bag so cheap. Others like TODS , Burberry, prada,gucci also quite cheap:

Train ticket to Bicester village GBP32 well if u convert to RM ya'ahhh damn expensive , if u r into labels and a designer freak like me it worth!!!

Next from Bicester village we went to Madame Taussoud
of which all the popular people from beyonce to the queen herself craft in wax.that an idea for a muzium. This is not just a wax famous people it also a theme park.with The Avengers 4d and also rollercoster. I love this madame and entrance fee £14 worth it coz it together with entrance of london eye.

Coz our little loaf have a cooking facility so we buy food and cook this is very cheap for a budget traveller like me.

Episode 21: London Bridge Falling Down. Day 1

Yes people i m here in London England. My dream vacation. Our flight savely landed Airbus tau mak naik.hehehe.Pilot dia Dato' tau (alahhh tak ingat nama dia). Hurmm the crew is as old as the Malaysia Airlines itself. Tua2 uols!

Arrive @ 630am and we go str8 to hotel to keep our luggage.
kalu korang baru 1st time in London like myself it like jakun lah.but do not worry if u r backpackers like me London is very backpackers friendly. let me tell u this.London Pas a waste of money. Oyter card great. Many attraction is near a tube just a block away.With oyter u get many discount to many attraction here.

We stay at bloomsbery studio2let sevices apartment quite pricy and got all the basic place like tesco n costa coffee(london answer to Starbuck) near russell square train station. This area have a lot of muslims and Halal diner. For those who are on budget there a lot of B&B around this ara rates around £40.

My 1st visit, London Tower this is the only place that i use my London Pas (which cost me £58) and the river cruise. The history of london so like scary bcoz in this tower a lot of people kills and diseksa gitews!

Note : oyter card tu macam Kad MRT yg bole top up gitewss. All over London on underground is £2.10 jehhh (Underground tu nama MRT dia).

18th January i was in Saigon for 4 days and it was heaven.

Saigon is a shopping heaven, the people hurmmm, they not bother at all. and most of them did not speak english. but still the cheap if you want to shop here.

i will come here again for the adventure outskirts Ho Chin Minh.
